So, the Sonia Rykiel lingerie collection for H&M hits the stores on December 5th. I am so torn, on the one hand, she signed that awful Polanski petition, on the other hand, a lot of the stuff is so pretty! You can see more of it at H&M but the interface is horrible and everything is so dark it's hard to see any detail. There are some adorable slippers and beautiful robes but she signed the Polanski petition!

Speaking of Polanski supporters, the first picture of Natalie Portman in character for Black Swan has surfaced and if you know the plot of the movie, the picture says a lot, if you don't then it's just Natalie Portman wearing ballet slippers (not pointe shoes, that's interesting) looking at herself in a hand held mirror. I would much rather see Mila Kunis.

I wrapped all my Christmas presents today. I say wrapped but that is possibly being a little generous. What I actually mean is I covered them in paper in a slightly haphazard and messy way. LOL. Still, it's done. Just got cards to write now.

Was slightly alarmed when I realised I finish work in two weeks for Christmas. That kind of gave me the kick up the arse I needed to start doing stuff. I've got two Christmas fics I need to write now and I've been massively procrastinating. I fail.

I have a new festive layout. Again. I had one of Sammy yesterday and then flickums suggested using the one I have now but I can't decide which one I like best. I'd make them have a fight if I could ;)

I can't believe it was only a few days ago that I met Misha. It's a good job I wrote that report and have all those photos because I can already barely remember it, like it was a really awesome dream that has quickly faded.

I have a cold. I feel miserable, but not quite miserable to just lie in bed all day. It sucks.

I have cold medicine (the real good kind that you have to buy behind the pharmacy counter). So far, it has not inspired me to break out in a mash up of It's My Life/Confessions or Halo/Walking on Sunshine.

To stay ydrated, I've got some Tiger gatorade. So far I have not ran into a fire hydrant or a tree with my car.

I just wanted to let you all know that we are going to be performing some mogilefs maintenance over the next few days. We will be upgrading our current version to latest stable as well as changing some db config information to better handle the amount of files we are currently hosting. This shouldn't cause a big impact on site stability, but you may see some minor delays with userpic / scrapbook images appearing or other requests associated with our mogilefs. We would love to not have that happen, but unfortunately with some of the steps we need to take we have to cause a delay with images. I figured this was a better solution than taking down all of LiveJournal because well lets face it, we all need our daily LJ fix ;)
